1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Bridge Boards, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Bridge Boards is a platform allowing users to create, manage, and export bridge card game boards. The service is provided free of charge with certain limitations on exported content (watermark on free exports).

3. User Accounts

  • You must create an account to use the service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Content and Intellectual Property Rights

This section defines your rights and our rights regarding the bridge boards and content you create on Bridge Boards.

4.1 Your Ownership

You retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights to the bridge boards, bidding sequences, descriptions, solutions, and any other content you create on Bridge Boards. Your content belongs to you.

4.2 License Grant to Bridge Boards

By creating content on Bridge Boards, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works from your content. This license is necessary to operate the service and may be used for commercial purposes, including but not limited to: displaying your boards on our platform, creating teaching materials, developing training datasets for artificial intelligence, and any other use that may benefit the bridge community or our business. We commit to crediting you as the author when your content is used for commercial purposes, in accordance with applicable copyright law.

4.3 Attribution

When we use your content for commercial purposes, we will make reasonable efforts to attribute authorship to you by displaying your name or username as registered on Bridge Boards, unless you explicitly request otherwise.

4.4 Future Marketplace

We may develop a marketplace feature allowing users to sell and purchase bridge boards. If implemented, you will be able to monetize your content and receive compensation for sales. The terms and conditions of such marketplace will be communicated separately before launch. Participation in any future marketplace will be entirely optional.

5. Prohibited Uses

  • You may not use the service for illegal purposes or in violation of applicable laws
  • You may not attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the security of the platform
  • You may not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
  • You may not use the service to transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms of Service. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bridge Boards shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
